It all began with being forced to ask the question as designer; "How can I challenge what a wood chair could be?" Weeks of sketching concepts inspired by mid-century modern bent wire chairs led to the idea of a hammock. The result is a chair made from solid American Cherry that is CNC carved for 100 hours and then hand finished for weeks. Custom versions can be made to order.
